Support movement, comfort and physiological birth with our Birth Sling hire service.
The Birth Sling is a versatile birth positioning and mobility support tool designed to assist during pregnancy, labour and birth. It can be used to encourage movement, promote upright positioning, provide comfort during contractions, support weight-bearing positions and facilitate relaxation throughout labour.
Upright labour positioning is associated with quicker labour times, a decrease in the rate of intervention, and a 25% decrease in primary caesarean rate (Gams et al., 2019).
The Birth Sling, which has been called "a game changer for active birth positioning," is a birthing tool created by osteopath, birth worker, and mother, Dr. Jess Michaels.
Each Birth Sling is:
• Hospital-grade cleaned, sanitised and inspected before every hire.
• Professionally checked for safety and quality.
• Ready to use with easy-to-follow instructions.
